Although I am a photographer I have never had my own maternity session! Can you believe it? So this last week we were in Southern Cal visiting family for the holiday and my husband and mother took us to the beach for a little shoot!
I have to say that it is a little unnerving being on the other side of the lens but it was still fun! I love the idea that my son will have great shots (in my opinion) that my husband took of us! Not to mention we haven’t had a family pic done in a while either! So as odd as it seems: here is my belly!

My blog and site were hacked! Can you believe it? I was very surprised. My husband asked me why someone would hack a little old site like mine and my response? Because they could! So who knows where it went for that brief time or how I got it back… that truly is a mystery! I meddled around in my FTP stuff and all of a sudden it was back!
On this lovely note I would like to take the time to post about copyrights: yes the very exciting topic of copyrights! Why are they important? I think everyone understands this alreay so I will be brief. My pictures and wording from my site is just that- mine. They are my originals and are very important to me. I try VERY hard to respect other people’s work. Those Christmas cards you see here- I didn’t design them! I purchased the template from a wonderful lady! My new albums? I design the covers and inside, but they are put together and made wonderfully by hand from a diffrent gal I know. Every piece of clipart or ‘paper’ I use on my site, blog, photos, and product that I didn’t create, I have paid for. And I will gladdly give credit where credit is due.
If you take anything from someone’s site and use it, print it, or whatever- that is stealing.

My kid brother graduated from Azusa Pacific University in July and I’ve finally got around to post some pics! The gal in red is my super sweet sister-in-law. My brothers and I are pictured on the left- good looking guys don’t you think?
